Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines standards of conduct for all MisanpAIge users. It supplements the Terms of Service and applies to all accounts regardless of plan.

Processing is performed via the Anthropic Claude API, so your use is also subject to Anthropic's Acceptable Use Policy.

You may use MisanpAIge to:

• Format and restructure your own academic manuscripts, theses, and journal articles.
• Reformat citation lists and in-text references to recognised academic styles.
• Generate cover letters, title pages, and supporting documents for academic submissions.
• Check and improve the language, structure, and consistency of your own written work.
• Process documents on behalf of students or colleagues where you have their authorisation.

You must not use MisanpAIge to:

• Submit AI-generated text as your own original academic work without appropriate disclosure.
• Process or distribute content that infringes copyright or other intellectual property rights.
• Upload documents containing sensitive personal data of third parties without their consent.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract proprietary elements of the platform.
• Create multiple free accounts to circumvent usage limits or credit allocations.
• Use automated scripts or bots to make API calls beyond your plan's rate limits.
• Resell or commercialise platform access or outputs without written authorisation.
• Transmit malware, spam, or any content designed to disrupt or damage systems.
• Harass, threaten, or harm other users or MisanpAIge staff.
• Use the platform in any way that violates applicable law.

Important:MisanpAIge is a formatting and structural tool — it does not write original academic content for you. Using its output as a substitute for original intellectual contribution may violate your institution's or journal's academic integrity policies.

You are solely responsible for:

• Ensuring compliance with your institution's AI policies.
• Disclosing AI assistance where required by your journal, conference, or institution.
• Verifying that all formatted output is accurate before submission.
• The factual content, citations, and arguments in your work — which MisanpAIge does not alter.

We encourage you to review COPE guidelines on AI use in academic publishing.

Documents you process must not contain:

• Content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or discriminatory.
• Personal data of individuals processed without a lawful basis.
• Confidential information you are not authorised to process via third-party AI.
• Content designed to facilitate fraud, harassment, or harm.

We do not proactively monitor content, but reserve the right to act on credible reports of violations.

If you integrate MisanpAIge tools into your own workflows:

• You are responsible for your API key and all associated costs.
• Do not use client-side calls to circumvent server-side rate limits.
• Automated processing for others is permitted within your plan limits.
• Reselling outputs as a standalone service requires a separate commercial agreement.

Violations may result in:

• A warning and request to cease the activity.
• Temporary suspension pending review.
• Permanent termination without refund.
• Reporting to authorities where required by law.

We will notify you before acting, except where the violation is severe or poses a risk to others.
