Overview
MisanpAIge ("we", "our", "the platform") is an AI-powered academic writing platform that provides template building, citation formatting, layout typesetting, manuscript editing, title page generation, cover letter drafting, citation checking, and batch processing tools.
This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how it is used, and the rights you have regarding your personal information. By using MisanpAIge, you agree to the practices described in this document.

Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect:
- Email address
- Password (stored as a cryptographic hash — never in plain text)
- Display name (optional)
Usage Data
We collect anonymised usage data to improve the platform, including pages visited, session duration, browser type, and approximate location (country level). This data is collected via Google Analytics 4 and cannot be used to identify you personally.
Document Content
Documents, manuscripts, and text you upload or paste into the platform are processed in real time via the Anthropic API. We do not store, log, or retain the content of your documents on our servers. Once processing is complete, content exists only in your browser session.
Payment Information
Payment and billing details are handled by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.

How We Use Your Data
- Authentication: To verify your identity and maintain your session.
- Service delivery: To provide and improve the tools on the platform.
- Communication: To send transactional emails only. We do not send marketing emails without your explicit consent.
- Analytics: To understand how the platform is used and where to focus development.
- Security: To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and unauthorised access.
- Legal compliance: To meet obligations under applicable law.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Ever.
Third-Party Services
Anthropic
All AI processing is performed via the Anthropic Claude API. Your documents are sent directly from your browser to Anthropic using your own API key. See Anthropic Privacy Policy.
Supabase
User authentication and account data are stored in Supabase, hosted in the EU (Frankfurt, AWS eu-central-1). Supabase is GDPR compliant.
Stripe
Subscription billing is handled by Stripe. Stripe is PCI DSS Level 1 certified.
Google Analytics 4
Anonymised usage analytics with IP anonymisation enabled. You may opt out here.
Cloudflare
Hosting via Cloudflare Pages. Bot protection via Cloudflare Turnstile (privacy-friendly, no tracking cookies).
Data Storage & Security
- All data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.2+
- Passwords are hashed using bcrypt
- Database hosted in EU with row-level security enabled
- Regular security reviews and dependency audits
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If you become aware of a security issue, please disclose it responsibly to info@misanpaige.com.
Your Rights
Under GDPR and KVKK, you have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification: Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure: Request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Restrict processing: Ask us to limit how we use your data.
- Data portability: Receive your data in a machine-readable format.
- Object: Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Withdraw consent: At any time without affecting prior processing.

- Authentication cookie: Session token (strictly necessary)
- Theme preference: localStorage (no personal data)

We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, or fingerprinting.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email at least 14 days before taking effect. MisanpAIge is not directed at children under 16.
