Cookie Policy
How we use cookies and similar technologies.
“We use only the cookies necessary to run the platform securely, remember your preferences, and understand aggregate usage. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.”
What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember information — such as whether you are logged in — and to collect anonymous usage statistics.
We use first-party cookies set directly by MisanpAIge, and third-party cookies set by services we integrate (Google Analytics, Cloudflare).
Cookies We Use
Every cookie MisanpAIge sets or relies on:
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
sb-access-token | Essential | Supabase authentication session | 1 hour |
sb-refresh-token | Essential | Keeps you logged in between sessions | 60 days |
theme | Functional | Remembers light / dark mode preference | Persistent |
_ga | Analytics | Google Analytics — distinguishes users | 2 years |
_ga_* | Analytics | Google Analytics — session state | 2 years |
cf_clearance | Security | Cloudflare Turnstile — bot protection | 1 day |
Cookie Categories
- Essential: Required for authentication and core functionality. Cannot be disabled.
- Functional: Remember your preferences (e.g., dark mode).
- Analytics: Anonymised usage data. IP addresses are anonymised. You may opt out.
- Security: Set by Cloudflare to distinguish legitimate users from bots.
Third-Party Cookies
Google Analytics 4
We use GA4 with IP anonymisation enabled. GA4 collects anonymous data about page views and feature usage. See the Google Privacy Policy. Opt out via the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on.
Cloudflare Turnstile
Used on registration and login forms for bot protection. Privacy-preserving — does not use persistent tracking cookies. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
Managing Cookies
Control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies will prevent you from logging in.
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
You may also use Privacy Badger or uBlock Origin for fine-grained control. On MisanpAIge you can toggle Analytics and Session Recording independently from the Cookie Preferences modal (accessible from the consent banner or via the command palette ⌘K).
Do Not Track
MisanpAIge does not currently respond to Do Not Track (DNT) browser signals, as there is no consistent industry standard for interpreting them.
